This sweet kitty's name is Lovie. I met Lovie's mom on Yahoo! Groups Feline CRF Support Group. Lovie lives here in Los Angeles and I went to visit the little guy and his mom on Wednesday. After Jake's passing I had lots of useful CRF supplies that I wanted to share with another CRF cat. As many of you may or may not know caring for an ill kitty of any kind can be very expensive especially in a metro area such as Los Angeles where vet visits and medication can run 3x the national average.

Lovie is the sweetest little guy and the most photogenic I've met since Micah! The camera just loves him. Sometimes he gets a little tired from not feeling so well but he still loves to jump and play. I'm hoping that some of the new treatments help Lovie start feeling better soon. He's such a sweetheart and his mommy is working so hard to keep him healthy and happy. It just breaks my heart that he has to cope with CRF so early in his young life as he's only a little over 1 year old!
Oh my, the camera does love Lovie! It was so nice of you to share your supplies with another CRF patient! We are sending Lovie lots and lots of healing vibes!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetheart. I will pray he stays happy and healthy for a long time.
ReplyDeleteLove and purrs,
Candice and kitties
Oh what a cutie Lovie is! And we hope he does well with his treatments...how sad he is only a year old and has to deal with CRF!
ReplyDeleteWe immediately fell in love with Lovie! What a purrfect name for this fabulous kitty! What a lovely lovely thing you did in Jake's honor to pass forward something that will help another CRF kitty. Jake would give a BIG paws up on that. We hope that Lovie lives a long and healthy life.
ReplyDeletepurrrrrrrrsss

Oh my goodness, how CUTE is he?? I can hardly stand it. You can see the sweetness oozing from his precious face.
ReplyDeleteMany purrs to you,
C
Bless you for sharing Micah's supplies! Hopefully Lovie will live as good a life as Micah did with a loving and caring family such as you.
ReplyDeleteYou're such an amazing person.
And Lovie IS pretty darned cute!
That is so great that you got to share Jake's CRF medicine. And what a cute cat Lovie. Hope Lovie stays well for a long time.
ReplyDeleteThank you again from the bottom of Lovie's very full belly- thanks to you he's keeping his food down and eating more! You wouldn't believe the progress in just two short days.
ReplyDeleteYOU ARE AN AMAZING PERSON!
Your kindness has moved me in ways I cannot even describe!
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you helping Tamia and little Lovie! She and I have been friends over 10 years, and you could not have chosen a bigger friend of the animals than she. She supports the Humane Society and Peta and many other animal rights/activists organizations, and has for as long as I've known her. She recently lost her precious dog who was very advanced in years, (a testament to the great care she took of her!)and by some miracle, rescued baby Lovie from the mean streets of L.A. and nursed him back to health. Imagine how she felt when she discovered he had CRF so close to losing her oldest dearest friend! Thank you soooo much for passing forward your treatments to help! Lovie is my new nephew and such a sweet loving boy. God bless you, you are an angel!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, I am Tamia's Best friend and Lovie's Auntie and I just wanted to thank you for your generosity. Although i am on the east coast in atl, GA, I wait for the day to hear good news about my determined little feline friend. He has brought alot of happiness and companionship to my friend, so far away from her family.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to thank you so much for giving my sis the kitty products and toys for sweet boy lovie. Also, this website is amazing.

auntie t and uncle harold
How very wonderful of you to be so generous and thoughtful to Lovie and his mommy. You made a real difference in his care and lifted Tamia's heart. From someone who loves Tamia and Lovie, THANK YOU.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry for your loss of Jake, but thankful for your generosity in donating your CRF supplies to Lovie. As a neighbor and friend of Lovie's mom, I can assure you that you have chosen a wonderful person to help and that she is so grateful for every day she has with her gorgeous little guy.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little guy!! Lovie is so lucky to have such a caring mom and a nice friend like you!!
ReplyDeleteI am a friend of Tamia's and I also know how much she cares for Lovie and appreciates all of the support/kindness she has received from you. We're all pulling for Lovie! Best regards,
